BRADES – Montserrat is the latest Caribbean island which will host the ICT Roadshow. On Wednesday, the roadshow will be launched officially by the Honourable Minister of Communications & Works, Charles Kirnon.
The three-day event is scheduled to take place at the Montserrat Cultural Center from April 21 to 23, 2010 and will bring together novices, innovators and some of the Montserrat’s leading experts in the field of information and communication technology (ICT).
Today’s event is an executive forum for more than 80 leaders of business on Montserrat and is an introduction to the power of ICT by representatives of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), who initiated the regional tour of 20-nations last July.
Expected to make presentations today are Secretary General of the CTU, Bernadette Lewis, Project Director for the Caribbean ICT Roadshow, Bevil Wooding, and Ronald Hinds of Teleios Systems of Trinidad & Tobago.
Sessions begin at 9am in the upstairs conference room of the Montserrat Cultural Centre.
