LITTLE BAY – In an effort to advance the quality of productions and Festivals on island, the Montserrat Arts Council will host a series of training sessions and workshops.
The first in this series is a Stage Management/Production workshop, which will be held in October of this year. The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Dani Lyndersay of the Department of Festival and Creative Arts (DCFA) University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine.
According to a release from MAC, “this workshop will benefit churches, community groups, private show promoters, schools and anyone who is interested in production. A small fee of $100 will be payable upon registration.”
The workshop is scheduled to run from the 24th to the 27th October and concludes with an examination. The certification will be accredited by an affiliate of UWI.
