Drivers will need to spend more this week on fuel as currently only premium gasoline is available on island.
According to Drive Time – Radio Programme, the absence of gasoline at the island’s two gas stations earlier this morning was due to the fact that they had not been replenished since the weekend.
However Delta Petroleum, which is the fuel supplier has announced that only Premium gasoline is currently available from the Bulk Terminal in Little Bay until later this week . This is due to the late arrival of the Tanker which was on Dry Dock.
This means that motorists who normally use Regular gasoline will have to spend more if they must tank up until the tanker arrives. Regular gasoline retails at $10.73 per gallon while the Premium sells at $18.10.
Drive Time is encouraging drivers to use care while on the road and pay attention to their fuel economy.
