Montserrat Students Entertained by Russian Pianist

Students on island were treated to an afternoon of music last Friday hosted by the Montserrat Foundation.
The foundation, which was started by the late Sir George Martin has been sending music teachers to the island for the past seven years to allow children to experience a broad perspective of musical styles.
The current music teach Brian Hosefros arranged for his friend Evgeny Kuznetsov, originally of Russia to entertain students from all of the local primary schools and the secondary school.
The pianist shared with the students that he has been playing piano for 17 years and missed Russia despite the cold.  He then showcased various styles and genres on the piano.

The performances were held in the auditorium of the Montserrat Cultural Centre named after the late Beatles Manager and owner of Air Studios.

One of his pieces is below.
