Off spin bowler Deno Baker heads to England today on a cricket contract.
Baker, who has been playing cricket since the age of six, will be playing for Morecambe Premier Cricket Club in Lancashire.
The young Montserratian has played for Leeward Islands Cricket Under 15 up to Under 19. He is on reserve for the Leeward Islands Senior team. Baker once received a cricket scholarship to the High Performance Centre in Trinidad and is also a member of Montserrat’s senior cricket team.
His contract is for six months and was garnered due to his excellent stats and cricket history.
