The Montserrat Tourism Authority has announced the island’s cruise schedule for the 2026/2027 season, with vessels expected to visit between October 2026 and April 2027.
The season will feature calls from several internationally recognised cruise lines and luxury expedition brands, bringing visitors to experience Montserrat’s natural environment, cultural heritage and distinctive attractions.
According to the Tourism Authority, the cruise calls will create opportunities for taxi and tour operators, restaurants, retailers, artisans and other local service providers to benefit directly from visitor spending.
Cruise tourism also provides an opportunity to introduce Montserrat to first-time visitors. The Authority said a positive experience could encourage cruise passengers to return for longer stays and help generate further exposure for the destination.

Visitors will be able to participate in sightseeing, hiking, diving, coastal tours and heritage experiences. Excursions will also include visits to some of the island’s best-known attractions, including the buried city of Plymouth and St George’s Hill.
“Every cruise call provides an opportunity for us to showcase what makes Montserrat different,” said Rosetta West-Gerald, CEO, Montserrat Tourism Authority. “Our focus is not simply on welcoming visitors to the island, but on ensuring that they leave with a genuine appreciation for our natural environment, our heritage, our culture and, most importantly, our people.”
The Tourism Authority said it continues to work with cruise partners and local tourism stakeholders to strengthen the island’s readiness for the upcoming season and ensure visitors receive a warm and memorable welcome.
Training and development opportunities are also being provided for tour guides and taxi operators, who serve as frontline representatives of the destination. The training is intended to help tourism professionals deliver knowledgeable, professional and engaging experiences that reflect Montserrat’s character and standards.
People interested in becoming tour guides or operating as vendors during the cruise season are invited to contact the Montserrat Tourism Authority at info@montserrattourism.ms.
The Authority said it looks forward to working with cruise partners, tourism stakeholders and the wider community to make the 2026/2027 season successful.
