BRADES, Montserrat – Montserrat has been awarded 10 scholarships under DFID’s annual country scheme training program and become effective for the 2010/2011 academic year, which begins in September.
According to information received from the Performance Management and Development Unit, the scholarships cover study periods ranging from one year to four years in nine disciplines. These include a BSc in Quantity Surveying, Associate Degree in Teacher Education, BA in Media and Communications, two Advance Diplomas in Midwifery, BSc in Housing Studies, BSc in Accounting and Finance, BSc in Accounting, Certificate in Drama Theatre education and a BSc in Environmental Management and Natural Science.
The institutions of learning are the 3 campuses of the University of the West Indies, the University of Technology, Sir Arthur Lewis College, the Barbados Community College and Middlesex University in the United Kingdom. ENDS
