GERALD’S – Fly Montserrat will be adjusting its weekend flight schedule ahead of Tropical Storm Danny moving into the Northeastern Caribbean.
“It is really important that all passengers have given us contact details if they are due to fly Sunday, Monday or Tuesday,” Captain Nigel Harris of Fly Montserrat announced Thursday.
Harris said: “At the moment we plan to operate normally up to the 102 on Sunday. That could change. We will then probably have all three aircraft heading south having refuelled in Antigua.”
Flights 104 and 108 will also be rescheduled to leave at 07.30 and passengers will be advised.
“At the moment we do not plan to operate Sunday’s 103 and 307,” he added.
There are no plants to operate any flights on Monday but this Harris said “could change.”
“Our policy is that anyone wanting to move their flight off one of the flights that is affected (Sunday 103 onwards and Monday) there will be no change fee.”
Harris said changes may be made in the light of updated information on the trajectory of Tropical Storm Danny by Friday. A consideration for flights on Tuesday onwards will be dependent on the state of affairs on Montserrat and at the Antigua airport.
