Team Montserrat Heading to St. Maarten for Debating Competition

LIDC-TeamMontserratTeam Montserrat leaves Wednesday for St. Maarten to compete in the annual Leeward Islands Debating Competition.
The team is headed by Dr Samuel Joseph and comprises students attending the Montserrat Community College and one university student.
Team members are Ashneil Jeffers (17), Chekwube Okereke (18), Dauquan Chacquelle Wray (18), Darenthea Sweeney (17), Dwaynifia Joseph (18), and Essaline Martin.
The schedule of events are below. ZJB Radio Montserrat will be carrying the debates live each evening.
The last time St. Maarten hosted the event was in 2009. Montserrat hosted in 2014 and also won that year.
