Diana White Davis was honoured as the Mother of the Year on Sunday during the 25th Mother’s Day Gala hosted by the Montserrat Progressive Society of New York.
The gala, which was held at the Villa Barone Manor in Throgs Neck, New York was well attended by members of the society and friends of the group.
Throughout the evening entertainment was provided by the Soca Bunnies – Kofi, Esi and Kwesi Samuels.
Hensey Fenton, founder of the Bank of Montserrat was a special honouree and the Emily C. Martinez Service Award was presented to Sister Jane A. (Sis Beth) Greenaway.
