The Awards programme is an initiative geared at recognizing and celebrating young workers between the ages of 18-35 within the Montserrat Public Service.
According to a statement from the MCSA, as a part of this thrust towards youth elevation and encouragement, Heads of Departments, fellow employees within Government and the general public will have the opportunity to nominate young people who they believe have excelled in the various categories set.
Young Workers may be nominated for seven categories of awards. These include;
- Outstanding Customer Care Award
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills Award
- Professional Etiquette Award
- National Duty Award
- Quilton Horatio Tuitt Award

An individual can only be nominated by completing the MCSA’s official Nomination Form; along with a personal nomination statement that summarizes in no more than 150 words the nominee’s significant contributions or achievements in the award category as selected. Nomination forms may be accessed from the MCSA office in Brades or via the government website, www.gov.ms. Nomination forms can also be acquired from all members of the Young Workers Committee.
