The young ladies of St. Augustine Primary School repeated their win at the Inter-Primary Netball Tournament this week.
The annual competition saw Lookout Primary, Brades Primary and St. Augustine Primary compete over three days for the trophy. Also happening this week are football and cricket matches for the boys.
On Day 1 Look Out vs St. Augustine, LO Goal Shooter Sutoneya Burns made four attempts and got two goals. Goal Attack Maurica Barzey had two attempts and made one goal. For St. Augustine, Goal Shooter Shary Barzey had 15 attempts and scored 11 goals, while Goal Attack Juanika Morris had 10 attempts and scored seven goals.
The final score 3 – 18 for St. Augustine.
On Day 2 Look Out vs Brades Primary. GS had 12 attempts and scored six goals. GA had six attempts and scored four goals. Brades’ GS had five attempts and scored one goal. GA had 11 attempts and scored 6 goals. Final sçore 10 – 7 won by Lookout Primary.
On Day 3 Brades met St Augustine. Brades GS Waynette Fenton had six attempts and scored two. GA Julissa Herdsman made three attempts and scored one goal.
St Augustine GS Shary Barzey made 16 attempts and scored seven. GA Juanika Morris scored on two of her five attempts.
Final Results: First place St Augustine, Second Lookout and third Brades Primary.
