BRADES – In honour of global entrepreneurship week, the Montserrat Public Library is teaming up with local media strategist and business coach Nerissa Golden to offer free workshops to the public.
According to Librarian Sonja Smith the library is increasing its efforts to be a main resource for the public and is offering the workshops as a way for business owners to prepare for the coming year.
The workshops will be held at the library in Brades from Tuesday November 23 until Thursday November 25 from 4:30 to 6:30PM.
Smith says the first 20 people to register will be able to attend the workshops at no cost but must do so by Monday November 22 at the close of business.
“Boost Your Business in 2016” is the theme for the sessions which will look at the importance of finance and marketing to increase profitability.
The sessions will be taught by Nerissa Golden, a local entrepreneurship advocate and business coach. Golden was recently certified as a facilitator for the infoDev funded WINC Acceleration Program which is open to female business owners on Montserrat.
