The Government of Montserrat has approved the duty waivers on barrels for this Christmas season.
Starting October 26 2015 until January 31, 2016 residents will only need to pay $30 on barrels arriving at Port Little Bay.
The waiver cannot be used by importers to bring in items for resale.
Each household will be limited to two barrels at this rate.
