At the end of the first day of the Boost Your Business Workshop librarian Sonja Smith received a very generous surprise.
Local entrepreneur Kenbert Barzey, who was attending the workshop presented the librarian with a collection of books on starting a business. The books were from Barzey’s extensive collection which he gathered several years ago when he was privileged to attend entrepreneurship school in India.
The librarian said the books will help to build up their resources on entrepreneurship and thanked the businessman for the gesture.
Barzey provides ordering services for car parts and also raises broiler chickens.
The Boost Your Business Workshops are being facilitated by business coach Nerissa Golden and are a part of the Public Library’s efforts to provide useful resources to the community. The workshops are free and continue until Thursday, November 26, 2015.
