Residents are invited to come out and enjoy an evening with the Blue Halo Montserrat Team on Thursday, June 2 from 5PM to 8PM at Good Life in Little Bay.
The event is an opportunity to see some of the hundreds of images which showcase life under the ocean around Montserrat. Residents can also talk to project leaders about the data collected and what this means for the continued protection of our waters.
Blue Halo Montserrat is a partnership between the Waitt Institute and the Government of Montserrat to map out the ocean surrounding the island and develop policies for usage. This policy will look at ocean management for fishing, preservation of corals, recreational use of beaches, etc.
Food and drinks will be available.
