A broad smile is never far away from the face of John Fergus of the People’s Place at Hilltop, St. Peters. However, that smile was gone when John saw the devastation wreaked on his popular hangout and bar by Hurricane Maria in September.
Slowly and certainly that smile is returning as daily John serves up drinks from a cooler and barbecue until his bar is rebuilt.
Thanks to the kind contributions offline and online, the bar is getting a complete makeover.
