2019 graduate of the Montserrat Secondary School Rhonda Allen was one of 421 students from across the region on the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) merit list for this year’s CSEC results.
Allen, graduated with seven Grade ones, and one Grade two subjects in July. She made the list for her exemplary performance in the Electronic Document Preparation and Management exam, where she had a perfect score in all sections of the paper. She was one of 10 Caribbean students who made the EDPM merit list.
“Well I feel very proud of my self. My hard work paid off. I plan to further my studies at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus to become a Medical Doctor. After which I intend to return to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology,” Allen said about her future plans.
No other Montserratian made the merit list for either CSEC or CAPE results this year.
The 17-year-old is currently a student at the Montserrat Community College.
