The Antigua Barbuda Association of Small Business Owners (ABASBO) will be hosting Abed and other business and legal experts for the two-day event scheduled to take place on May 23rd and 24th 2018 at Jolly Beach Resort & Spa. The theme for this year’s conference is Disrupt. Innovate. Grow and targets business owners, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, SMEs, aspiring Entrepreneurs and women leaders.

Day One of LEAP! 2018 will be the General Conference and is geared towards all aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs as well as existing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME’s). On Day Two in the morning will be the “Blockchain & Cryptocurrency for Business & Investing” Post-Conference Workshop. This interactive workshop is a half-day event where attendees will learn the fundamentals of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency investing opportunities to properly align and incorporate them into business practices. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding and a holistic perspective on the future of money, including available financial and technology options and security considerations. The trend of Caribbean governments adopting blockchain technology and cryptocurrency and the ramifications will be discussed by Abed, and FinTech specialists McKenzie M. Slaughter and Telly Onu.
In the afternoon on May 24th will be Women LEAP!, a half-day session designed for women in business and corporate leaders as we discuss “Investing & Wealth Building Opportunities for Women & Families”.
