BRADES – The Honourable Minister of Finance Premier Donaldson Romeo recently attended the 2015 High Level Caribbean Forum, at Frigate Bay, St. Kitts, from September 3-4, 2015.
The premier was accompanied by the Acting Financial Secretary Mrs. Lindorna Brade.
The forum, the fourth in the series hosted by the International Monetary Forum (IMF), brought together Caribbean Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors, donors, and representatives from international financial institutions to exchange views on solutions to key economic problems facing the region.
This year’s forum addressed three specific areas thought to be critical for growth:
1. Reducing energy cost
2. Financing infrastructure
3. Improving access to credit for the productive sector
Antigua & Barbuda, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, Grenada and Anguilla were some of the countries represented at this forum.
