ANTIGUA – While Antigua & Barbuda were expecting to receive some welcome showers on Sunday from a passing weather system, they were unprepared for the onslaught of rain which led to localised flooding in some areas.
The Meteorological Office was reporting that thunderstorms were possible from Saturday, October 17 until October 24, however up until Monday morning parts of Antigua were still experiencing flood conditions.
Up to two inches of rain was expected in some areas.
No reports on damage have yet been released.
