St. Augustine Primary Wins First Netball Match

The girls of St. Augustine Primary School showed they are intent on taking the trophy back to Woodlands with a solid win in netball on Monday.

The Inter Primary Netball and Cricket Competitions began on Monday at the Little Bay Sports Centre.

St Augustine made 8 goals vs Lookout Primary 2 goals. For St Augustine, Shay-Reese Chambers (GS) scored 6 goals from 12 attempts and Jaida Gerald (GA) scored 2 goals from 6 attempts.

For Lookout Primary, Anisha Turner (GS) scored 2 goals from 15 attempts.

Netball games continue Tuesday with Brades coming up against Lookout. Start time 11:30 AM.

Monday’s cricket game was abandoned due to weather. Both teams were awarded 1 point each.

The boys from Brades Primary will take on Lookout Primary’s cricket match at 10 AM.
