There will be no ferry service between Montserrat and Antigua for the period of Sunday August 20th to August 23rd.
A press release from the Office of the Premier states that the Government has made arrangements with both SVG and Fly Montserrat airlines to offer an EC$400 return airfare between Antigua and Montserrat and the waiver of the Antigua and Barbuda Embarkation tax for the same period.
All persons travelling between Antigua and Montserrat are asked to contact Fly Montserrat at 491-3434 or SVG Airlines 491-4200 or 2533.
The travelling public is encouraged to book early.
A waitlist system is in place for both Fly Montserrat and SVG air, to accommodate travel outside of scheduled flights.
Cargo services between Antigua and Montserrat have been suspended until ferry operations resume on Thursday, August 24. Customers with urgent cargo needs should contact the Access Division at 664-491-4702/4703 or 496-6229.
Still no word on ferry service after September 30, 2017.
