On Saturday, December 1, 138 people travelled to Guadeloupe aboard the Jaden Sun. The excursion was organised by the Access Division for the second time this year.
The ferry which left island about 5:30 AM took almost three hours before docking at the port in Basse-Terre. Travellers included more than 30 in the Montserrat Secondary School (MSS) French club along with their chaperones. Others, like Jenzil Skerritt were looking forward to meeting relatives they had never met.
I was privileged to enjoy the day off of Montserrat. Thanks to Gracelyn Cassell and her friends from the French masquerade troupe who took us around to experience some French history and culture. Here are a few of the photos I captured throughout the day.
