Promotional group, STRATIFY says internationally acclaimed dancehall sensation, Valiant will be headlining next year’s highly anticipated show slated for March 15, 2025.
Stratify comprises Montserratians based in the Diaspora and locally. The group has previously brought popular Caribbean acts including Voice in 2024 and Kes the Band in 2019.
Valiant, whose real name is Raheem Bowes has been involved in music for over a decade with his breakthrough arriving in 2022 when he gained significant recognition leading to hits like “Dunce Cheque”, North Carolina” and “Speed Off’. In 2024, Valiant won the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) award for Best Music Act, further solidifying his position in the global music scene.
The group says that the 2025 show “promises to bring together a fusion of talent to include local DJ’s and energetic
performances with Valiant taking centre stage to deliver some of his top charting captivating hits.”
“We couldn’t think of a better headliner than Valiant” said Geran Phillips, Director of Operations and Services. “His energy, talent, resilience and passion perfectly embody the ethos of our brand, and we are excited to bring his dynamic performance to a Montserrat audience.”
Phillips shared that audiences could expect an even more improved showcase than previous stagings. “It was very important for us to reach a stage where we could promote our event early, allowing patrons overseas, particularly those in the Montserrat diaspora, to plan ahead,” he stated.
He further noted that the decision to announce the headliner early was bolstered by the Government of Montserrat’s proactive announcement of reliable sea and air access for the 2025 St. Patrick’s Festival.
“Actions of this nature provide event promoters with the confidence and support needed to expand and enhance our events,” Phillips added.
