An Evening of Elegance is being held this Saturday, January 9, 2016 by the Montserrat Red Cross to support its charity work on island.
According to Fundraising Coordinator Anne Thomas, the event is under the patronage of Her Excellency the Governor Elizabeth Carriere at Government House in Woodlands from 6 to 9 PM.
Past, Present and Future … 50 Years On is the theme for the night in commemoration of the organisation’s 50th anniversary which was reached in 2015.
Tickets are $40 and are available at Tradewinds Real Estate, The Attic, John Fergus at Hilltop, the Red Cross Office in Brades, Edith Fenton and Awe Shopping Centre in St. John’s.
Funds will go to purchase household supplies for the vulnerable.
