Interim Arrangements for Plane Travel Until May 7th

Following the recent statement made by the Hon. Premier Donaldson Romeo; regarding the suspension of the ferry service. The following interim arrangements have been confirmed and will be in place until 7th May 2016.
All previously purchased ferry tickets will be honored at both the Antigua and Montserrat Airports. Passengers will need to present their tickets at the airport and pay the difference.
When booking flights passengers must inform the airlines if they will have any extra baggage. The standard 50 pounds per person for checked luggage and 10 pounds per person for hand luggage remains in place. Passengers are to note that the number of daily flights will be increased based on demand. Both airlines are working closely with the Government of Montserrat to meet the access demands.
Passengers are advised to make their travel arrangements in advance with the airlines.
All flights have been reduced to EC $400.00 return airfare during this interim period.  The standard departure tax and security fee are the responsibility of the passenger.
Flight rates for children between 2 and twelve years old are priced at EC $200.00 return airfare.
Flight rates for infants under 2 years old are free.
All passengers staying in Antigua for more than 24 hours will be required to pay EC $101.25 for the Antigua SH tax.

The Government of Montserrat is in discussion with local cargo agents to facilitate cargo between Montserrat and Antigua. Customers should contact the Access Unit at 491-4702 or 491-4703 if they currently have cargo in Antigua or anticipate that they will have in the upcoming weeks.
