The Montserrat Public Library was gifted with several new books during the recent Alliouagana Festival of the Word.
The festival #AFWLitFest which was held November 10 – 13, 2016 featured several visiting and local presenters who shared knowledge around the theme Technology and the Word: Contemporary Manifestations.
JD Scott, elder brother to the HGTV stars of the Property Brothers was in attendance and presented library Sonja Smith with a copy of Dream Home, which has been autographed by the twins.
“The Public Library is very grateful to Mr JD Scott for his contribution of the new Publication by the Scott Brothers entitled ‘Dream Home : the Property Brother’s Ultimate Guide to finding and fixing your perfect house’. This copy is a welcome addition to the Library’s Collection and will be available for borrowing by the public,” Smith said.
Also contributing books to the collection was Alan Springer who gave two insightful talks on safety online for children. His eKidz collection of books now have a place in the library.
