LITTLE BAY, Montserrat – www.themontserratculturalcentre.com is the new online home for the island’s premiere venue for social and cultural events.
The new site was built by web developer Sherylene Dyer with consultations from brand development and marketing firm, goldenmedia Montserrat.
The site’s features include a calendar of upcoming activities, a photo gallery of past events, along with information on the facilities available for rental.
“The Montserrat Cultural Centre has been at the heart of the island’s revival,” says Chairman of the centre’s foundation Sir Howard Fergus. “It is a solid symbol of Montserrat returning to life in both the cultural and business arena.”
On the website you will also be able to see the centre’s two new television commercials promoting the venue and an infomercial giving a brief history of its beginnings and its importance to Montserrat today. The videos were produced by Nerissa Golden of goldenmedia Montserrat.
The centre’s management hopes that the new website will help to attract additional activities on island as the cultural centre has proven it can host world class events, including the Miss CARICOM Pageant, Arrow Festival 2010, high-level government meetings and social and religious productions.
