Deebzlenuz’s affinity for reggae and hip and hop and his love for his birth country Montserrat comes through clearly in his latest CD Outta Mi Soul 2 and the Outta Mi Soul EP.

Born Dominic Lee, Deebzlenuz takes listeners from a meditative space to grooving on the 18-track production and the EP which is now available on iTunes.

While his early years were spent on Montserrat, moving to the United States as he entered double digits introduced him to hip hop, which comes through on many of the tracks he wrote and produced. His passion for reggae, which he says is influenced by Bob Marley, Gregory Isaac, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh and Bounty Killer, fuels much of the album.

Having written and recorded over 400 songs since he first discovered he could write, Deebzlenuz’s maturity comes through in the intentionality of each song to not only entertain but inspire.

Lee is about to embark on a global tour to promote the album. Early sales of the CD will help to raise the funds he needs to cover some of his travel and will also continue to support the work of We Will Thru Sports. The programme provides high quality sports activities that serve at risk youth and promotes connection, unity, and empowerment for girls and boys.

“Our key thing is using sports as our platform for helping kids to stay safe and adopt healthier lifestyles,” he shared about We Will Thru Sports.
