“Search Montserrat is an online information guide that covers Montserrat’s valuable information such as: culture, nightlife, restaurants, excursions and accommodation. It touches on the uniqueness of the island complimented by stunning images,” says a statement from the developers.

“The site basically acts as Google, a central point for sourcing information, only this time, Montserrat specific information. With SearchMontserrat, you will be kept in the loop of the Island Life, Businesses and News whether you are living in Montserrat or overseas. It is ideal for advertising and increasing your business’ online presence, as it provides additional exposure for Montserrat and sure to spark the interest of many potential visitors. You can even check the ferry schedule and live flight arrivals,” developer Ken Shipley says.

Specializing in Web Development and E-Marketing, Ken Shipley established his company Search Antigua Inc. on Antigua and Barbuda. He built the very first Search Engine for the twin island state, and recently received the Entrepeneurs Award at the Youth Awards Festival.

Infotainment is one of the main site categories and gives visitors the links and information to the local Newspaper, Radio Station, Videos and much more. One of SearchMontserrat’s initiatives is to include all the community and youth organizations and assist in their online presence.

“Often these organizations have a small or no budget to receive the exposure they need and deserve,” Shipley says. “Both my wife and I are very active within the communities as a Rotarian and Lion and it is crucial to share this information with the world.”
