The Chevening Scholarship scheme is the UK Government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. They are geared to students with first degrees enabling them to study for Masters programmes or equivalent and who show the potential to become future leaders and decision makers in their home countries.

As Miss Wade and Miss Williams leave at the start of their scholarships, Mrs. Kristen Taylor-Hilton, a Chevening Scholarship winner in the last academic year will be returning to the island at the end of her course of studies for a LLM in Criminal Law and Justice at the Birkbeck University of London.
