Her Excellency the Governor Elizabeth Carriere, presented long service medals to seven police officers and one prison officer at Monday’s Queen’s Birthday Parade.

Hundreds came out to enjoy the pomp and circumstance of the uniformed groups from Montserrat, St Kitts & Nevis and Antigua & Barbuda.

Constable and Border Security Supervisor Eunice Pond received a second clasp for her service to the Royal Montserrat Police Force.

Inspector of Police (retired) Ivan Duberry received a Second Clasp for 30 years of Service to the Royal Montserrat Police and Fire Service.

Sergeant of Police Solomon Samuel received a First Clasp for 25 years of service while Police Inspector Courtney Rodney received a Colonial Long Service Medal for 18 years of service.

Sergeant Benjamin Rasool and Constable Ausdel Johnson received Colonial Long Service Medals for 18 years of service to the RMPS along with Police Constable Ken Hercules.

A Colonial Prison Service medal was given to Prison Officer Terrance Lee for 18 years of service by H.E Governor Elizabeth Carriere.
