Montserrat saw an increase in crimes in 2015 compared to 2014.
According to the crime statistics released by the Royal Montserrat Police Service this month, there were 310 crimes recorded in 2015.
In 2014, there were 256 crimes recorded for the year with theft and burglary being the top offences.
Assaults increased in 2015 from 56 to 87 offenses reported. Theft dropped from 63 to 58 and burglary from 70 to 52 in the same year.
Criminal damage cases increased from 12 to 29 and there were 15 disorderly cases recorded last year.
