December 2015 saw 254 visitors receiving temporary driver’s license according to statistics released by the Royal Montserrat Police Service recently.
A total of $12,700 was collected in December, which was the top month in 2015 for issuing temporary permits to visitors according to the report.
March was the second highest period with $10,700 which could be attributed to the St. Patrick’s Week Festival. The lowest number of permits were issued in September.
In 2015, the police collected $76,450 in temporary license fees.
