The group hiked the Oriole Walkway Trail which begins at Lawyers Mountain in St. Peters. For more 90 minutes they learned about Montserrat’s flora and fauna from the island’s top trail guide.
Along the way they viewed the devastation caused by people who are not caring for the Centre Hills. They also spotted one of the elusive geckos who clearly was in a friendly mood.
The health hike was coordinated by Cardiologist Dr Icilma Fergus-Rowe of the Mount Sinai Medical Centre, who annually returns to island with a team to host specialists clinics and encourage healthy lifestyles on island.
